Being a novice in the field of cake decoration,fondant toppers always have been a fantasy for me.I used to stare at the cute little figurines adorning the cakes for hours together and wished to master this art .I was planning to learn it from some of the best hands in India.That is when the unexpected twist crashed down onto the world in the form of the dreaded Corona and eventually the lockdown!! I was devastated to see my dream dooming...but everything happens for the good,I guess. Being a huge fan of Gauri m'am ,I used to follow her posts on FB religiously and I was joyous to read that she was my little angel who had come up with an array of online classes !!!! But I was skeptical whether an online class would do justice to my thirst to learn it to perfection..But as this was the best option available then,I decided to take the plunge and I must confess,this was one of the best decision I ever made.Gauri mam is a lady with no air around her. She is the best option possible to learn the science and art of cake artistry. Being a dental surgeon ,she is well aware of the human anatomy and teaches figurines with such precision and perfection.We will never feel that we are thousands of kilometers away from her..she takes us through the class with so much of energy ,fun and above all love.An excellent tutor ,she connects with every student personally and clears doubts immediately. I must say that her classes are the best option and I can definitely bet that you will never regret joining them.we will never need to speak for her ability to teach ,because our work will speak for her!!! Such will be the difference !!!! I had joined her hexagon sharp edged cake with hand painting class and her three days human figurines master class.I am totally satisfied and I am sure that if a newbie like me can improve my skills so much....then all can.That's wat selflessness teaching is all about,Gauri mam teaches all tips and tricks needed without any secrecy and that is what makes her different from the pack!!!!Thank u mam and waiting to meet u someday in person.

I had been following Gauri Kekre since a long time on Facebook and was in awe of every cake she posted.

Her bust cakes and figurines are mesmerising. Also, the structure cakes are magical. So, when going through her page I saw her post of the mentorship program and the previous students work, l jumped with excitement and immediately messaged her to register for the same.

Having gone through the online sessions with Gauri has been a great experience. The details with which she teaches and her aura is very inspiring. It’s difficult for me to pick one or two sessions to specify as amazing or brilliant, for me there was great learning in all the sessions.

I had found Gauri Ma’am’s page on Facebook and the very first class I had done with her was a white chocolate ganache in 2019! I was a self-taught baker and needed someone who could teach the right concepts and techniques. The session was very crisp and clear. Hence, I decided to go on with the online mentorship program. Whatever she explained was very detailed and hardly there were any doubts after attending the online sessions. My favourite session was the figurines session where she explained everything so much deeply in a 3-hour session. There is so much to write about each and every session!! But in short, the mentor ship programme was an amazing experience and an abundant source of knowledge to me. There are no hidden secrets while explaining the techniques. I have taken a lot of online workshops with Gauri and when I heard of the mentorship programme, I couldn't be more excited to be a part.  Although I have been baking for long, but I wanted to sharpen the finer details we often overlook and this is what this workshop offered. Every single class was detailed and mentored for the slightest thing. I remember when Gauri noticed one tiny part of improper finish through a photo 🤣 and I kind of overlooked it because I thought it was too petty. But all in all, a workshop one must take because I learnt so much more of how to make a cake. PERFECT!
