It’s a simple yet flavourful mutton recipe which never fails to tickle my taste buds . Use of simple spices in right proportion and slow cooking on this meat for an hour being outs the real taste of meat amalgamated with the simple spices and mint .Fresh meat will taste better…. stale meat might take longer time to cook.
Here goes the recipe


1. Mutton on bone 500 grams
2. Onions finely chopped 2
3. Tomatoes finely chopped 3
4. Garlic 10 to 12 cloves finely chopped
5. Ginger juliens 2 inch
6. Turmeric powder 1tsp
7. Coriander powder 1tsp
8. Red chilly powder 1tsp
9. Garam masala 1tsp
10. Mint leaves few finely chopped for garnish
11. Coriander leaves few for garnish
12. Salt as per taste
13. Ghee 5tbsp
14. Bullet green chillies 5 to 6 finely chopped


1. Wash and clean mutton and keep it aside.
2. In a kadhai add ghee once hot add onions and fry then till they are golden brown
3. Add mutton and cook the mutton on high flame for 10 mins till meat turns brown in colour
4. Add tomatoes ,green chillies ,Garlic and salt
5. Cover the lid cook on medium flame for 20 mins till tomatoes soften and dissolve
6. Add all dry spices turmeric,Coriander powder, red chilli powder ,garam masala
7. Mix well and cook on lowest flame for 45 mins
8. Add ginger coriander and mint leaves . Check salt
9. Give resting time for 15 mins
