This dish is for those who don’t prefer red masala chicken sukka everytime and want a variation. Keeping the original chicken sukka taste in mind I altered this recipe and it turned out super delicious. Perfect Sunday lunch treat for your family. Do check out the recipe


1. Chicken 1kg
2. Onions 3
3. Coriander seeds 2tbsp
4. Cumin seeds 1tsp
5. Pepper corns 1tsp
6. Methi seeds 1/4tsp
7. Garlic pods 8 to 9
8. Coriander leaves 1cup
9. Green chillies 8 to 9
10. Mustard seeds 1tsp
11. Curry leaves 7 stems
12. Coconut scrapped 1/2cup
13. Coconut oil 4 tbsp
14. Salt per taste
15. Sugar 2 pinches
16. Turmeric 1tsp
17. Lemon 1


1.Wash and clean chicken and keep it aside
2. Dry roast coriander seeds cumin seeds methi seeds and keep aside
3. Roast coconut and keep aside.
4. Cut 1 onion and fry then till brown along with garlic pods
5. In a mixer add all the items you roasted add green chillies, coriander leaves  and coconut. Make a coarse mix
6. In a kadhai heat coconut oil add mustard seeds let them crackle  and then add  curry leaves
7. Add 2 finely chopped onions let them become light brown then add your washed chicken
8. Add salt and turmeric and let it cook for 15 to 20 mins till meat is done
9. Add the grinded masala
10. Cook for 5 to 10 mins
11. Check salt add sugar and squeeze a lime
12. Give a resting time for 15 mins and enjoy this dish
